- Corroded and Damaged areas of the head face rebuilt and re-machined
- Meticulously cleaned and reassembled ready for re-fitting
The work carried out on cylinder heads varies from basic repairs to performance modifications. We offer a service from cutting one valve seat to a full refurbishment. Valve seats can be re-cut to the manufacturers specification, 3 angle seats cut and heads machined to accommodate larger valves, and valve seat inserts fitted for unleaded conversions. We are able to fit valve inserts to any make of cylinder head including motorcycles.
Valves cleaned and refaced. Corroded heads can be welded and surface ground; all types of car and large commercial heads can be refaced.
The final assembly and resetting of tappet shims is the last stage of the process in getting your cylinder head back to an "AS NEW" condition.
